Looking to Buy?

A company is only as good as its managment. The NATO sounds like a new venture. Do they have expertise in this area? So far it sounds as if they have misled shareholders to some extent and disappointed.
I am just wondering if the people who own it would be buying at these prices or looking to other stocks that have more solid potential both in terms of management and growth instead. eg SGY.
It sounds like some of the s/h on this BB are hoping that CUS works out but are not really secure with how the NATO has overrun and its potential for payback.

But then there is the practical reality ( I think) that the CFO in a sense is the lap dog of the CEO who wants to accomplish and communicate a specific outcome. In that case ...more

Serge; Canexus will be releasing the 2014 Q1 results sometime after the markets close on May 07. On May 08 they will be holding the Q1 conference call and after that the AGM and conference call. https://web.tmxmoney.com/article.php?newsid=67178531&qm_symbol=CUS If you are on the fence it may be prudent for you to wait and make a decision then. Another option would be to buy a bit now and add ...more

No problem Serge. The published payout ratio by the company for the 4th quarter was 179%. My calculated payout ratio for the 4th quarter was 208%. What the company did not tell investors was that the real payout was also based on the new shares issued since the 4th quarter. Anyway you slice it, the new shares that were issued two months ago still got the quarterly dividend, based on the 4th ...more
