back for a chat
was up brutalheim way before days off-postponed our work till late summer due to congestion.
see that cus got a rude wake up call to the realities of dealing with the railways.and the divvy cut came as expected but only cost 5 % or so so not bad.my take on construction at nato is the contractors want out of there.good and bad.construction people know what i mean.
i don't know the new ceo's agenda....clean up nato or look after the core business.my thoughts are that one side or the other gets carved off.in a perfect world nato would be dealt to a stand alone for existing shareholders but i don't think that cus has the current staff to move to a new entity.
gibson has their hands full at hardisty but is building more tanks to fit with the program-all systems go there.more likely superior or an outfit out of the states will try to aquire nato(imho)
however-people in the know suspect that rail loading might end up overbuilt in a few years so snooze you loose.imperial and kinder morgan are going to ship a ton of product soon out of edmonton/sherwood park and they have an inside track;so to speak.
divvy should be safe now but of course dependent on the chemical side-don't lose focus!.
my thoughts are that cus is a completely different animal come next year.
hope you all had a good weekend and didn't just have to do yard work.till next days off...

@mike.. "my take on construction at nato is the contractors want out of there.good and bad.construction people know what i mean." I'm a construction guy and I'm not sure what you mean? 40 bucks an hour is 40 bucks an hour.. and long as the cheque clears alls good.
