August 6th Conference Call?

Since the Second Quarter Financials are being released on August 5th, I wonder if our CFO will still be around the next day to answer any questions? Since we all now know that the payout ratio is at an unstainable level, I figure between 300% and 400% for this quarter as NATO is now cash negative, the Call should be interesting...

maybe you can sick your legal team on them? you must have 4-5 active class actions going now.. whats one more..

What do you anticipate is going to happen to the SP if your prediction becomes a reality? In other words, if the POR is as high as you are suggesting it's going to be, will there be a selloff? If so, where will it leave the SP.  I recall that after the last conference call we saw the SP go as low as 3.97 or so, but closed the session, if my memory serves me right, in the green that day ...more

I bought into CUS with a 1-2 year outlook. The cost overrun on NATO doesn't bother me and I Expected a divvy cut until cash flow catches up. once the dust settles CUS will be ok. As a retired oil and gas contractor, I think cost overruns are part of the game and anyone building anything in Alberta faces the same pressures so, when NATO is up and running, it will be that much more valuable ...more

Keep in mind Nelsonnelley that the 1st Quarter payout ratio was well over 100%, even with the dividend cut and 4th quarter of 2013's actual payout ratio was around 200%, but was not reported as such as Canexus fudged their actual share count when publishing the dividend information. Their newest share offering got paid the 4th Quarter dividend, but was not included in their payout ...more

Thank you for your analysis. Cutting the dividend would be a drastic move for sure, but with the way things are going for this company, it's not beyond management at this point to do so. I just hope they don't.
