because cus went looking elsewhere for business? cenovus? There is more than meets the eye here guys? something is in the works. Could be an incredible buying op here.

On the surface, it appears MEG interprets their pipeline contract rights as a novation while CUS interprets their right of assignment. If this is the case, then one might assume that the NATO divestiture is imminent.

why why why? could be that NATO sell is nearly a done deal and MEG is not a front runner to get it OR MEG doesnt like the company nato is being sold to. ethier way NATO is SOLD!!!

Nato is sold??  Who wants to buy NATO and all the legal problems that are now attached?  And ask yourself this, if previous management botched the NATO project  from the beginning, do you think they did a good job with legal contracts?  Would MEG put themselves in a legal bind if they thought they had a weak hand?  Regardless of what happens to the price in the morning, I ...more

maybe because of all the nato screw ups it's cost meg some money, sooooo,  maybe this is just a little payback. I may be way out in left field on this but it's possible it may not be as big a deal as it seems. hopefully this gets settled out of court and the sooner the better. cheers ferret
