Sorry for my lack of knowledge but what does this chart actually tell us. I see over a 2 wk period shorts jumped a half mil shares. Analysis98 any analysis, educating would be much appreciated. Thanks, kindly.

Hi peterm.  You are reading it correctly.  As of Dec 15 the number of short shares increased by 533,000.  As of Dec 15,   Total shares shorted is now 10.6 million which is pretty high.  The shorts must think there is more downside to come.  If they thought NATO would be sold any time soon we would be seeing this number drop.
