Plan "B"

Let's say for argument's sake that Canexus does not sell Blunderheim. Does anyone truly believe that the dividend will then continue? What about the share price?
I firmly believe that whatever does happen with Blunderheim, Doug and the BOD must make changes on the management team so as to right the ship.

Slewfoot2, your comments are beyond stupid. If they do in fact eliminate the dividend, which is looking like a foregone conclusion, this is a penny stock. The remaining dividend paying institutional investors that were dumb enough to hold this will dump it in droves. No wonder the short sellers are all over this. Timberrrrrr!

Kherson, There is a very good chance that Canexus is (still) in violation of the covenants on its debt. EBITDA is less than $100 million due to operational problems at Vancouver and Brandon. That means the creditors start calling the shots. This could get very ugly very quickly. There is no happy ending to this story...

Looks like "Plan B" is now in effect... No doubt that Ocean112's recent posts were designed to test the waters for today's NR. I wonder how low will the share price drop tomorrow? Kherson

"Does anyone truly believe that the dividend will then continue? "  I think most long term shareholders expect a reduction in the quarterly dividend at this time or in the near future. "What about the share price?" A dividend reduction is already priced in and a 50% cut to $0.05 per quarter could possibly see an increase in share value as it would represent a yield in ...more

Welcome aboard Pierre. Glad to see that you have been able to take the time away from your pennystock board (Stornaway) to post on this one. Then again, in 3 weeks time, Canexus might also be worth 69 cents a share... Kherson
