Actually its still very overvalued. Trades at 9 times 2015E cashflow (an OPTIMISTIC $100 MM). As a NON-Dividend stock, it should trade at 6 times. Investors aren't getting paid to hold this stinker anymore. Remember, now you have to adjust cash flow estimates for losses at NATO ($10 MM) and Rich's severance ($3 MM). If this stock were a yoga pose, it would be 'Downward Dog'. RH

It does look like the stock is settling at around $1.50 which sounds about right.  Q1/Q2 for 2015 appear to be stronger in the Chemical side of things at Canexus, however NATO is still anchoring the company.  I believe all of NATO will be sold for 75-100m (Cenovus at 75m from what I heard). Once NATO is gone, reduction in at least 25% of company staff (BIP initiative) and the sale of ...more

Will be bitter pill to sell it to them @ 75 after all this. Cenovus played it brilliantly.

Great post.  I have no doubt that most of these things will come true.  Not sure that Cenovus will be the lead bidder, but it's entirely plausible that they could put in a low bid offer (actually, a right bid offer) and see if any other taker emerge.  I believe CP/CN and/or some midstreams might, personally, but that is 100% pure speculation based on better synergies with these ...more
