Bankrupt?

I'm going to buy more shares tomorrow 1.50$. Any opinions here if the company is going to be bankrupt any time soon?   Many thanks.GLTA

In my opinion, we are due for a huge rebound ! I bought some stocks at 1,53$

Marky1, YES, there are even odds that this thing will go bankrupt in the next 18 months. Massive debt, underperforming assets, lousy management. Read the Q4 release. Management is willing to sell anything to de-lever the balance sheet. Desperate people do not make good decisions. Buy a motorcycle. It will be worth something in 6 months. DS

Why would anyone consider buying shares in anything that they thought might go bankrupt. Keep in mind that the debt and it's interest payments are in US dollars. There are lots of safer bets than Canexus. Kherson

Hey Kherson, lets have some examples of these safer bets in the same price range.  Specifics my boy, not a bunch of verbage.

Spidar, it's just that my 90 year old mother just got a bank TD for 1.75%.  I just want to see if a Kherson pick can beat her over the next year.  I just want to get his competitive juices flowing.

Mr. Know-it-all (Kherson) has one of the most amazing unique abilities that I have ever seen in a investor. He only buys companies that eventually go bankrupt, so I would not be asking him for advice. Just my opinion

Price range????  It seems you're bound by linear thinking.  Just because you sell a piece of junk  at $1.50 doesn't mean you must buy something else in that price range.  Buy fewer shares in a quality company.  All of the big Canadian banks have a higher yield than dear old Canexus and they even have quality management.!
