Even Doug Wonnacot, the CEO, isn't buying shares in Canexus

More bad optics! Our Mr Wonnacott has purchased a grand total of 6100 shares in this pig since he took over (from the Mgmt Info Circ). Even Doug doesn't believe in this dog! Says a lot about his confidence in his own management ability. At least not with his own money. The only real shares he owns are the ones that the Board gave to him (around 50,000). Wow.

The top 5 executives hold a grand total of 170,000 shares in Canexus. That's less than 0.1%. The fact that they have no skin in this game should be a huge red flag to investors.

That is a little concerning. It is difficult for management to buy in though. You would not expect him to pour tons of money into the company prior to him entering or just after - as he was hired to turn it around. A little bit now would be good. I guess it is difficult to say what his financial position is. The CFO bailed about a year ago and they kept him on.... that was a bad sign
