Merger Update?

There was some expectation of an update this week, but silence thus far.

Has either CUS or SPB made a formal announcement or provided an update/guidance?

Thank you in advance to all and good hunting!

per CUS investor call, April 12th is a key date from US regulatory authorities.

With the share price for SPB rising and CUS share price stalled clearly tells us that the Market has doubts on not only the immediate financial situation of Canexus, but the merger also. Kherson

Hey Kherson, how is your Poseidon doing?
Comment by Kherson on Mar 18, 2016 12:24pm
Actually BigBear, I was one of the first people  to call Poseidon a fraud. Presently one of the parties deeply involved in the fraud has offered to settle and four of the fraudsters will soon be appearing before the ASC. Too many scams are being operated under the noses of the Provincial Regulators. In my opinion, if Canexus had been honest with the Market concerning their Blunderheim fiasco, ...more

Here I am watching for a kherson little obituary and all I see is another post!

So you were able to save your mothers money by recognizing Poseidon as a fraud?
Comment by Kherson on Mar 18, 2016 6:50pm
I was able to save about half of our original investment in Poseidon Concepts once I realized that it was indeed a fraud! Kherson

To the defence of Kherson, I have been a sucker at Canexus at over $7.-+, and like Kherson I have no love for the management and "our" directors. Canexus was a good company until Management run it to the ground and our Directors did not help. However, I will not get more money back by been sour at those guys, lets make the best of this deal, learn from it and move one, hopefully Superior ...more

Dask, the problem as I see it is that the there is no guarantee that the merger will occur. The clowns running this company have been so dishonest up to now, and the share price exposes that fact, what is to say that they have or will not screw up the merger process? Keep in mind that the last credit amendment was on August 31, 2015 and the Total Commitment was reduced from $500 million to $400 ...more

well kherson, i'd be willing to bet a tooney that the merger goes through. I hope you didn't buy any CXR @ $40.  But I appreciate your research and contrary opinions.
Comment by Kherson on Mar 22, 2016 10:14am
Why do you hope that I didn't buy any CXR, which in fact I did? Kherson

kherson, you're a bigger recidivist than Ricky on trailer park boys. You lost your money on energy companies chasing yield and looking to make a quick buck due to your greed. Now you're trying to make a quick buck on a beaten up health company.   And even if you get lucky on CXR, it'll only fuel your greed and you'll end up losing again on a future bout of greed.

Whoa, slow down, new word for this 74 year old.   recidivist: a person who relapses into crime.   I'd prefer to think of him (kherson little) as a sad sick person that is getting worse with every  post.

Although the Credit Facility has been rejigged to allow Canexus to survive until the end of the month, it is still my belief that the proposed merger has failed. Now is the time for shareholders to be heard and vote out the deadwood on the BOD! Kherson
