kherson, you got lucky about the merger not going through so you should have quit predicting doom and gloom while you were ahead.  it hasn't sought bankruptcy protection so your winning streak has turned into a losing streak. it might be time for my favorite knight errant to find a new adventure.

All one had to do was to read the quarterly financials of SPB to realize that the merger was toast long before the cut-off date. As for Canexus seeking protection under the BIA Act, I have never stated that I felt they would! I have stated and continue to state that I believe that they will be seeking CCAA protection! Kherson

Matt, if what you are saying is correct about the failure of the deal being due to the "US competition guys", then why is Canexus suing Superior and visa versa over the failure of the proposed merger? Kherson

Matt, cat got your tongue or are you still waiting for a response from your handlers on how to answer my question? You have clearly stated that the merger failure was due to the US regulators, namely the FTC. If that was the only reason as to why the merger failured, then why are there now two lawsuits on going btween the two parties involved? According to the information that Superior Plus ...more
