Murray Edwards says CUS worth more than Chemtrades low ball

Murray is one wealthy guy and has a history of supporting operations in difficulty e.g. Imperial Metals. Folks this is really good news and shows Kherson to be a fool, then again he could be a tool but what do I know!.............................."Since the commencement of the bid by Chemtrade, Mr. Edwards has acquired an aggregate of 1,226,600 shares, and now beneficially owns, or exercises control or direction over, 17,709,000 shares, representing approximately 9.5 per cent of the issued and outstanding shares. This total includes all shares acquired on and after Oct. 4, 2016, as indicated above. No persons are acting jointly or in concert with Mr. Edwards in connection with his acquisition of shares of Chemtrade.

The shares were acquired by Mr. Edwards for investment purposes. Depending upon evolving circumstances in relation to the business and affairs of Canexus and the bid, Mr. Edwards may acquire additional shares or other securities of Canexus, or he may from time to time sell some or all."

Just where is Murray now living since he decided to decamp from Canada and our tax system? Murray is a poor example of upholding the rights and responsiblies of being a Canadian citizen.

You think, Sherlock? Guys, billionaire investors don't buy shares to lose money. He bought at $1.50 and he is clearly influential. Murray Edwards cost base for all his CUS shares has not been disclosed. He may have been acquiring shares for years. The CUS board has said what it thinks about the Chemtrade bid backed up by fairness opinions from CIBC, read the material.
