Option exercise on Questrade?

Anyone ever do this on Questrade? I see a fee of $25 for option exercise. That's for a transaction regardless of the number of contracts in the position right? It fuggin better be! TD charges $45.

I'm not sure these warrants are the same as an option but it would be nice to know.  As near as I can tell they trade like a stock and a regualr stock commision may apply.

She also said the warrants takes 2 weeks to settle instead of 2 days. Food for thought and glta. She didn't say anything about fees that I could make out but I do know that it is more expensive than ...more

Shazam Yes exercise requires a call-in (at least for TD), hence the $45 fee to execute the transaction. PS: I just checked my Questrade account and my HSE shares (and options too) have been converted to corresponding CVE. No warrants associated with the share conversion part are showing yet though.

Quint I was referring to options not the warrants. I hold ITM HSE LEAPS options (now flagged as CVE1 in the options chain as they've been converted). I plan to exercise them at some point to receive the underlying CVE shares and warrants. WIth TD, an option exercise was a flat $45 per transaction, regardless of the number of contracts exercised. I assume it's the similar with Questrade but ...more
