Everyone Keeps talking Cash Flow....While it's important,

it's NOT THE BOTTOM LINE. Bottom line is PROFITS. Cash Flow can be a Gazzillon $$$, don't mean squat without any information about Profits to put Cash Flow into context.

All just my opinion/view/thinking.

Profit and cash flow are both important in their own right, but positive cash flow implies there is more free cash flow coming into the business than is being paid out. This is far more important than a profitable business with negative cash flow. Having said that, CVE is currently both profitable and has positive cash flow, and that is only going to increase with higher oil prices ...more

Well, you see, from a SHAREHOLDER point of view....which I assume most of you are.... Profits is Far more important. You are thinking from a Management/employee point of view, not a Shareholder's point of view. There's a difference !!!! And That's what most are MISSING, IMHO..... and that's why while oil $65 they are scratching their heads ...more
