Some are expecting a div increase, but I don't think that's going to happen yet. I think they are in negotiations to buy out COP's stake. The question is, how much of it will they take ?

I'd rather see them do like Suncore and surprise the market with a huge divvy increase.. you need to get paid to wait..

During interiews, it sounded like AP wants to reduce the share count If they increase the div now, then the stock goes up and only makes the share repurchase more expensive. That's why I don't think it's going to happen this time around. Maybe mid to late 2022 after they reduce the share count by 10 or 15%

I can agree with that statement. Focus is on reducing debt. It's going to be a strong quarter. Cheers The Stag :)

Cabarete1 that is rational and Makes perfect sense. Clear thinking! AP May also announce a buy back sooner rather than later, essentially a 5% intrinsic value increase in lieu of a dividend.

My opinion is 50 cents should be the baseline annual dividend (actual, not increase). Less than tomorrow and the share price impact is negative. More than that, its positive. Of course, the results and perhaps other news will also impact the share price tomorrow.

The price difference between WTI and Bent is also amazing.
