The earnings release date should be Feb 16/2023..... Others a reporting large amounts cash,,, here is hoping that Cenovus will announce a special divy,,,, $1.00 per share or more would rock...

Indeed Feb 16 before the bell. I'm also expecting a second quarterly Variable Dividend, but only slightly higher than Q3's CAD0.114 per share.

Honestly we're darn near at the debt target or will be by the 16th. There div is very poor compared to there peers. So shows us the div!!!

My guess is that they will focus on share repurchases as much as possible, while it's low and before the new tax. They might put in a token special div, like the last one, but nothing substantial. Maybe they are in talks with BP about another refiery.
