Hell of a deal, CVE  "returned" money to shareholders last year by buying 65 million shares at $25.20 and taking a $150 million loss.   I would just as soon have had a special dividend which would have returned about 60 cents a share in a special dividend.  And prevented $150 million loss. Anyone agree with me?

fully agree...add to the list VEREN, VERMILLION, BAYTEX that have all lost millions in this endevour...maybe some bright spots like ARC but few and far in between..Sure, i'm gonna hear it will pay off down the road...maybe like i hear CVE's refining business that is supposed to be part of their "value chain" will make money one day as well...meanwhile, CVE sits at $22.60 ish..... ...more
