More bad press than anything paid out of current PETTY CASH...as said, it was HUSKY spill after-all. Nobody likes a spill to the environment and its good business to take EVERY PRE-CAUTION and more for the sake of the bottom line.. one good example was ENBRIDGE's spill into the Kalamazoo (sp?) river a number of years ago...10k? barrels of dilbit spilled and it cost them over $1.5 billion in ...more

my 2 cents the husky offshore oil spill at newfoundland is way overblown, it is for the gov't to show off to the  public that they are on top of thing. Yes, it's good to keep management accountable but in world scale of things, 250 cubic meter spill is just a spit in world dumping scale. This oil spil was due to equipment malfunction or operator error, not due to poor corporate ...more
