2 requirement need to be met

1.  2/3 approval of shareholders

2  approval by the federal government

Should be no problem on either point as the Fed approved the Royal Bank merger

Do not think that Smith can do much about it except complain about it....banks are federally regulated Notice that the price is only around $42 this morning but keep in mind that share price of NA is also down about 5% or so and this is a share swap deal....plus there is always the FED saying no to the deal as it reduces competition.....not likely they will say no with them approving the Royal ...more

I am a holder from March 2023. So I really don't mind sitting and waiting.  I figured there will be some hair on this. thanks for your thoughts.
