But like so many UCP stories the "Trudeau is killing the oil industry" flies in the face of the facts.
It's not up to Trudeau "to see a business case for LNG"....it's for the PRIVATE SECTOR!!!
Geez, he's already spent 30 BILLION dollars to build TMX and get Alberta's precious oil to tidewater...you want him to spend more on an LNG venture???? It took LNG Canada SEVEN YEARS before it arrived at their FID....and another SEVEN YEARS to build the actual plant and pipeline.
People like you would make us think that we could ship LNG to Europe in BBQ propane tanks next month!!! That's totally delusional. The only reason that the US was so quick in exporting LNG is that the US used to IMPORT LNG....the plants, facilities and pipelines were already there. Converting the equipment to export was done in less than a year.
Nuclear powered cars would be better than EVs??? Oh my! That was a nice finish! LOL
