Caldwell - another reason why “DIY” may be better...

As an early investor in Caldwell, we have always maintained that investors who take the time to learn about the process will do better over the long run, and in January of 2021 we published "10 Reasons why I bother" ,which outlined why the DIY process has value.

For those investors who are considering the “DIY” route, a recent article (link below) in the Globe & Mail is probably an excellent read, as it highlights reason # 9 - the fact that the “Canadian Financial advice industry is a mess”.

DIY is not for everyone. A good example is those people who call in to BNN and ask for consensus is indicative that their research capabilities is so limited that they should not try to do it on tneir own. Relying on a few comments by the BNN guests is probably not the best way to invest.
