This sell off has been on very low volume.

 50 day average volume was 654,354
 30 day average volume was 450,813
 10 day average volume was 391,092

Usually you don't see volume drop off like that on a massive drop in price.  

I have to admit, I didn't see this thing dropping back under $2.  Seems absurd, especially with most of the other gold stocks flat to/up the last two trading days.

dpfor3, I'm really surprised CXB dropped below $2.00 as well ... have added 20,000 CXB shares back into the holdings the past few days .... including picking up another 5000 this morning at $1.90. Bottom feeding .... or  .... trying to catch a falling knife ? Time will tell ... should be another round of assay results coming out in the near term . GLTA !

Could also very well be that someone with inside information found out that financials are not good or drilling results not good or an institutional investor not happy with management , either way , they want out and are dumping big chunks of shares in open market , until they are done with their shares you will see big SP manipulation at these levels which I think is good buying opportunities to

Have you thought it could just be because the gold price has been dropping? Sometimes, its just as simple as that!

DPFOR-3---Pull up a 7 month chart off ticker---cxbmf---otc----notice the 3 long green candles on the chart---seems to me that there is some identity that likes to pull the stock price down every 3 months or so---tells me it's manipulation----taking out all the stops-----this tells me that this stock is a favourite for a takeout down the road---I bought more shares at 2.18---and bought more

That's what I've been seeing as well! Taking advantage of lower volume to push the price down. I was watching the bid/ask the other morning and it seemed to be pretty clear manipulation. Wish I had some more dry powder, but I'm fully invested.

I agree with the previous posts....this stock is manipulated every few months big time.....I think we may be close to another move higher here...I have a few bids at somewhat lower prices which may or may not get filled...too good a stock not to have some of....huge potential and well run....jmho dyodd

Added another 5000 shares this afternoon at $2.00 .......  will continue adding more to the collection in the near future if current price level persists   ....    GLTA !!
