CXB fan. Can't figure out the SP roller coaster. Tries to run and then craters. Thoughts, insights, from other shareholders would be welcomed...

not bashing, but I'm thinking political risk is going up. I was in COG and bailed with a small profit. If they are locking up opposition politicians, will they be shy about shagging CXB and COG? Just my thoughts...

True enough stockpunter, there was a Reuters article issued on June13 about political opponents being locked up as the November election draws nearer. Calibre share price started falling in earnest the same day. Same thing happened last year after Reuters issued an article regarding the control of the media in Nicaragua by the Ortegas. US slapping sanctions on a few of Ortegas cronies certainly doesn't help, but if you look at the GDXJ it's back down to March lows - this sell off is sector wide. CXB is more closely mirroring the GDX, which itself is tracking gold futures... I think a restest of $1670 is possible, but would be genuinely surprised if that support didn't hold.
