Calibre Mining: Tracking Well Against FY2022 Guidance (TSX:CXB:CA) | Seeking Alpha

Calibre is one of the top performing miners.   It is on track to produce 220 to 235 ounces.  As of H2 it has a profit margin of 11.32, a p/e of 5.9, and a price to book of just 0.61 making it one of the most undervalused gold miners. Calibre in Q3 increased capital spending to accelerate growth and is on tract to meet cost projections. From the Q3 report: VANCOUVER, British ...more

All countries in Central and South America are risky. I am not worried about CXB. Good, intelligent, professional managers who know what they are doing.

They have an agreement already made with the Huron Nations and the copper mine is ready with all the installations, equipment and electricity. We have been waiting for the permits for over a year. However, there will be no more copper mines built soon and not to mention the lack of copper in the ...more

Nicaragua is not much of a risk as is the U.S.A. that has been sanctioning companies around the world. Nicaragua is not going to kill the goose that lays golden eggs.

That is exactly the objective- make Nicaraguan gold radioactive to the international investment community in order to nudge government away from repressive practices that lead to unrest, mass emigration and conflict. See what happened to Venezuelan gold production. Calibres meager share price reflects this danger. I expect Calibre to eventually be nationalized if US ratchets up pressure-

No it's not.. if it was the US would have banned import of all gold from the country, not just DGM. They even explicitly made a point to say in the sanction piece the goal was not to harm the Nicaraguan economy or the people. Calibre employs over 10k locals in relatively high paid jobs. Most of the workers at Libertad and Limon are unionized. Calibre has contributed hundreds of millions USD in ...more
