Nice Uptick in Price and Volume

GDXJ-(Jr Gold Miners Index) is up about 2%, Market darling IAU ( NV based I-80 Gold) up about the same but CXB been running about 3 times that today on no news.  I watch house trading and House 1 or Anonymous is almost always the largest net seller, until today. Over half of the Volume is Anon. and they are by far the largest buyer today.   I have pasted todays house trades and right below the total trades by house since March 1, 2023 that clearly shows what I am referring to.

Could this be a sign of a leak of March Production or other positive news or just more iinvestors following the seemily all postive reviews from the analysts that attended the March 1 to 4 site visit? Or simply a good day?  Whatever, this steady price increase is nice to see.

I think it's in large part short covering. Gold futures broke $2k today.  Past attempts have been slammed back below right away,  but today held to the close for the first time in years.  If you're short and were holding on to see if gold would reverse again, you probably aren't thinking that's the case after the price action last night and today, so time to exit ...more

You may be right. Here is what Stockwatch shows, This does not include US shares, the short shares in US are much harder to find and I have seen Canadian  stocks with relatively low short positions on TSX, being traded lightly but shorted heavily on the OTC.  However, based on the steady rise, and recent good news, I would not be short CXB right now. However the shorts made huge profits ...more

I think the rise in price is well deserved and a long time in coming if it continues, I also was wondering why and thought of the possible beat on earnings or other such thing but also thought about Condor selling its assets near to our operations. Maybe someone knows we are the front runner for picking up their project at a reasonable price. If we did get their project and we are able to move ...more

Rising Gold prices will help out even more going forward. Nicely done.

Well, pretty obvious News was out yesterday, but not to us retail little guys.  My bet is that CXB is not an active bidder on Condor. Besides the price and their public announced 3 active bidders with 2 non binding bids for Condo. It  appears that was before a team from one of China's largest gold mines came and spentr 8 days on site.  There may be a bidding war at COG and this ...more
