Nicaraguan Assets

Those of you that are perplexed by low SP should consider that most of the revenue is at the whim of Nicaraguan gov.  In what way does CXB "own" these assets?  Why does CXB management think that projects in North America are such a good idea lately?

One is they needed MOZ for tier 1 crediblity. Good for CXB bad for MOZ shareholders.  Overall the venture, merger may have some hope as long as that south American mine has no issues with the El Presidente'.

"El Presidente" has no interest in nationalizing mining. The country is mining friendly, and many companies have operated there without hindrance for years.  “We have got a strong, transparent mining friendly jurisdiction,” Darren Hall, CEO of Nicaragua-focused Calibre Mining, told BNamericas in July. I agree Nicaraguan government would not nationalize mines- no expertise.  However, Chinese are very interested in Nicaraguan resources, including gold. Including COG's assets, I think. Chinese are providing help with infrastructure.  Why would Ortega prefer as partners a bunch of greedy western capitalist pig Gringos to a like-minded CCP?  Eventually, how will US respond?
