In the video referred to here by Ridge and later linked by BG (me) and Geezer, i think,  the hostess says that Hathaway . made mention in a previous written report  that , in fact, there were about 20 "entities" interested in Marathon Gold. Also,Hathaway refers to the former MOZ as being poorly managed, especially in terms of capital raising - but most of us already knew that ...more

So, u4eah, why did one of the other 19 not make a move on MOZ, do you think?  CXB did a great job of structuring the offer that competitors would have needed to make a significantly richer offer - or so goes the story i ve heard tossed around. Regardless, VL is in better hands now, than it was previously. MM really showed his lack of mgmt skills. Will he get the chance again down the road?

I think what you said about cxb being undervalued and translated into a salvation for Moz shareholders probably makes sense. To whom on the MOZ board / mgmt team do we thank for that, i wonder? lol The proof is still in the puddin of course - lets see the flawless execution b4 we get ahead of ourselves.

I won't be giving MM a pat on the back. Taking what Sprott said in the video yesterday Moz management could have done better. Aside from that the total disconnect for Au stocks was an opportune time for M&A and I expect we got lucky having CXB take charge and hopefully their past performance will be positive for V. Lake. Mind you, all of the boots on the ground exploration and permiting ...more
