Funding

Ok, the funding for the offering is done, but how does concordia anticipate to fund the 3 Billion dollar deal?  They raised 600M and have maybe another 100M in the bank...

They are only worth 2 Billion so its not like they can hand over that much equity in shares...

Where's the rest of the money coming from???

It's all in the press release, combination of equity, debt, and debentures. The equity has already been issued at a fixed price and Goldman, etc. have committed to issuing the debt, debentures.

The details are in every press release about the purchase. As previously announced, the Company entered into an agreement to acquire London-based AMCo earlier this month. The purchase price for the acquisition will consist of cash consideration of approximately £800 million (approximately US$1.2 billion), a fixed amount of 8.49 million common shares of the Company, and the repayment of AMCo ...more
