Bought 10000 CXR shares at $42, was that a good deal?

New to CXR here and I invest on stocks I see in the upswing with no related bad news. How long should I hold onto this and whats a reasonable price target to sell for?

Thanks for your input.

Lol..you bought 10k shares and can't answer those questions yourself...

I think yes. But you will start to see the gain next week or in medium time. If the stock will be down some day , less than $42, do not sell!

I think folks will do well buying in this price range, no problems. My guess it runs back up to $100 relatively short-term (say, 2 to 6 months). And longer-term $150. PLUS, PLUS, PLUS.

6 months is medium time and 12 months is long time. Short is less than 3. I think we can see it is short-medium time.Because CXR has nothing to do with what was created around VRX.

So I believe you are agreeing with me in a roundabout way. Thanks!

The main factors that pushed me to buy was the CEO interview in BNN + his announcement that he will be in the road promoting the stock next week, CXR being unfairly dragged down by VRX, and upswing trend of most health care stocks. 80% of my portfolio is in CXR now and I swear if I'm half a million dollars richer by christmas(Need $92 stock price for +$500k), I'll send Andrew Left a gift. ...more

$42 will look like a great buy next week, but if it really was the CEO interview that prompted you to buy, why didn't you load up at $28?
Comment by CanadianSwing on Oct 23, 2015 1:05pm
Like I said, CEO interview was only one of the factors. I was waiting for the start of the upswing because I did not want to predict the bottom.  Seeing two strong green days verified the upswing for me and then I bought. I made most of my money riding stocks that is just starting to crawl up. If I could predict the future I wouldve bought at $28 but I'm happily locked in at $42 now even ...more

Monday should be a big day for all.  Pretty sad for people who got caught up in all these games

That should make for an awesome Christmas. LOL I like your decisiveness and nerve. Wish I could be like you.  Good luck!  I bought a few shares also - about 1000 I think.

Depends upon what you sell it for doesn't it? LOL!

10k shares are you sure? Find it odd when "after " you buy, you ask that question and moreover if your shelling out $420 grand, you should do some DD, GLTu -a.

I agree, it sounds a little fishy. you spend 420 k and ask questions later? Wow you must have a lot of money.
