Concordia Healthcare Corp. > $45/sh tomorrow?
View:
Post by Roger87 on Nov 12, 2015 5:33pm

$45/sh tomorrow?

You think we will hit that tomorrow?
Comment by sunshine7 on Nov 12, 2015 5:41pm
I would be surprised yet delighted. CXR is doing what they said they will do (and a little more). Will that be enough to bring significant buying pressure? Funds may take some time to digest the report. Retail pressure will come first. They tend to put up stop loss orders so expect continued volatility IMO.

If shorts charge towards the door I think we could see an intraday high of 20% higher. So, if you want out tomorrow, set your sell at 45 and see what happens. I would not be surprised if you get filled

I averaged down to $47.50. I am looking to hold onto these once they hit 85+
Comment by healthstock1234 on Nov 12, 2015 5:57pm
Just a friendly reminder,CXR was $117 before this excellent acquisition.

CXR is down only 70% without reason, we saw today the Financial Statements. CXR is in strong buy, TSX expected : Target Price History   Current 1 Week Ago 2 Weeks Ago  ...more

I have very little esperience, but watching the tsx crash once agin, there are other deals out there. I am in long, but not everyone is. Cash is a great asset tommorow and Monday. Just saying This stock is my firsy mistake "so far"

The stock should heal quickly if the market co-operates 1. Great quarter, numbers are fantastic 2. Technicals show a bullish triangle with a short term target of $58-63 when all other healthcare stocks are breaking down by the day technically 3. New acquisition has 60 new product launches planned to which news releases will act as share price catalysts 4. Trading at less than 5 x next years ...more

\ Agreed!   The other healths all seems to be train wrecks.  CXR skidded on all the BS being flung on the track but with these numbers, all that really won't matter from here. I love the lact this stock is well covered by credible analysts.    That should really help being the more cautious investors looking for high returns on a larger cap stock.. Allovermedia, move on.  ...more

figured i'd provide an update as the stock has moved up faster than I anticipated and although i expected more consolidation points and a longer process we are still under the 50dma. The short term target of $58- 63 certainly seems to be playing out. Looking at an "exhausted selling model" we are just before the break of the 50dma of $55.01. If volume conitinues and we break the ...more

If anyone with computer skills can post figure 2 from the linked page i provided i think it could be useful given where we are in the esm model. You can use this chart in many situations so you may find it useful for many other opportunities. Happy trading.

55-60 bucks easy by next week ,it is cash cow now and so many other players would like to Pick it up as it is beaten down with the sector with no reason to be at these levels.
Comment by sunshine7 on Nov 12, 2015 10:51pm
Let's hope market sentiment turns around. TSX down 15% since May peak (remember sell in May and go away.... for how long?) Asian markets down this eve. Hope EU picks up tomorrow because if this is a general global meltdown, stability will look like a win. Regardless, markets always turn and CXR will lead the pack IMO.
Comment by TechTarget on Nov 12, 2015 11:12pm
"Sell in May, go away" and "come back when there is snow on the ground".   It's actually started to snow so we're good! CXR is so oversold, it's already  more than "corrected".  Very safe bet. But you never know.   Once thing for sure is markets are becoming more and move volatile.  That means buying low when everyone was crying ...more

Clutter?  The whole board is clutter! Beware the power of the shorters.   Look what they did to NHC today after they blew away the analysts estimates. I just hope CXR trades green tomorrow and doesn't drag down the rest of the sector.   $45!!! LOL.   Good luck with that TechTarget. It was at $45+ already when the sector had a dead cat bounce.   ...more

There are certainly sector issues at play but there will always be a need to buy healthcare exposure for most money managers. The smart thing to do is look at where the money is most likely to flow in the sector. Almost every other name is toxic right now. Vrx has many issues with negative headlines, shorts etc., Nhc has shorts and a death kiss of postponed financials, anything to do with Dalsin ...more

craigbad, your post is one the reason I put up with these "bull"boards! Great stuff. Agreed.   This is the best healthcare pharma stock in a very solid sector (except for the few "beauties-turned-scarlets". Please message me your #2 and I'll drive by the boards with positive comments (ionly).  I try to only be 100% positive these days....

After the very positive 3rd quarter release yesterday we should see a nice bump above $40 on Friday, and to $60 by Christmas. Anybody thinking of participating in the conference call today? Management will host a conference call to discuss the third quarter 2015 results on Friday, November 13, 2015 at 8:30 am ET. Following management’s presentation, there will be a question-and ...more

Don't compare CXR with the other healths (which I follow BTW).   NHC was a DISASTER today because Nobilis management BLEW IT!  They postponed the earning conference call and delayed official filing earnings because of non-cash "accounting issues" WTF!!!!! !  And gave us an "unofficial conference call" to tell us how excited they were?????    The ...more

Apologies to all CXR holders, but re HNC...I couldnt agree more...Bunch of amateurs and something really stinks there...
Comment by Stockcoach1 on Nov 13, 2015 1:06am
]   The truth is that NHC unfortunately didn't have their Q3 numbers for their release today, as they changed accountants. This is why they were punished today. Simply put, verbal rhetoric does not replace certified results.    As for your other comparison, VRX is facing issues and scrutiny in their price hikes, accounting, and questionable ethical practices. They are ...more
