One of the few biotechs that give a divi at all. Maybe a setup for increased divi trend in the future?

Because some investors and funds will not buy stocks that do not pay divicends no matter how small the yield. I think a higher yield pays for itself by appealing to a wider base and resulting higher sp. Not sure if it benefits Concordia sp in any manner. I think they should be paying at least a $1 a share, which yields about 2% at current sp. Probably out of the question until they pay down some ...more

For 20 cents a year more, I tend to agree with you on that. Therefore, I honestly don't think that this story is credible. Firstly, this story is not being released on the official CXR web site or any other news distribution service. Secondly, it would be out of character for CXR to set a dividend at this time. Sorry, I thought it was a general question about the CXR dividends. Where is the information about a 2 cent increase coming from? I don't see it anywhere. thanks

Adamchess, I think what happened was that the author of the original article posted a couple of days ago just rounded the $0.075 quarterly divi to $0.08 which extrapolated to a 2 cent annual increase and the false story took off from there.  And a typo made the 2 cents into 20 cents.  No information to find as there is no story in this.
