Short interestt

The date chosen by the com pany for earnings release makes me uncomfortable. Wednesday after market. Leaving only Thursday for investors to readjust their position in the company. (Friday being a Good Friday). If the news and earnings are questionable god help us longs. You could see over 10 million shares traded on Thursday. Your comments. GLTA

Your post history says it all. Your here to instill fear. Just sell if you yourself are scared. Cxr has made me good money in the past. Recently got back in on Thursday. Will add more on Monday if it drops. GLTA

Conversely, if the results surprise to the upside, there could be a million shares traded as shorts try to cover. Glass half full here where the sun always shines.

The Market was speaking pretty loudly on Friday.  I was tempted in the $34s, but fear that it keeps falling next week.  I want to see how it is trading on Wednesday before deciding if I want to make a partial position buy or wait until Thursday to see how it opens.   The risk is that it either gaps up or down Thursday morning.   But I suspect trading volume and ...more

what is the significance of the weekend?  People can buy or sell on Thursday, the following monday, the following tuesday whatever. Who cares - this is not an energy stock where an event might happen over the weekend.  The earnings release date is meaningless.

d_trump, you know I hate to agree with you but also hate to disagree.... But I must. As a true retail investor I can tell you that most of us only review our holdings during the weekend and evenings. Weekends are huge because frazzled self-directing investors review holdings and decide to buy and sell. Novice self-directing guys place market orders (bad idea), that's why traders love ...more
