CXR options to deal with shorts...

What options does MT have to follow through on this recent statement of his? "Concordia has been the subject of an unrelenting and unscrupulous attack by a group of short sellers for several months. We will continue to monitor this situation and will act accordingly."

Not much.  Regulators have to start getting serious with these guys.  Glad to see the US took action against the "catalyst" of this sector wide attack. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-crime-shkreli-idUSKBN0U01IM20151217 But the only real way management of CXR can show a vote of confidence for their stock is to buy on the open market like the rest of us. I find it amazing this US Hedge Fund short seller was accused of fraud by the SEC and the market still gives way too much credibility to those short sellers who create crazy market conditions on which these short attacks are built on. At least, it's nice to see the securities regulators take swift actions to get these shorting hedge funds know they aren't going un-noticed! Have they ever ...more

A concerted effort can be made by major shareholders to have their shares made not available for borrowing.
