Question to all the knowledgable members
Lots of new info has been presented today. As a novice investor my question is whether this new proposed resolution to offer prefered shares is a sign of milking the shareholders or a measure to protect the company from a takeover due to the depressed share price. If the latter reason is true then can I assume that it's a bullish sign.

Sunshine and lattice: thanks for the clarification. Voting against the prefered share matter makes sense but this action is a strong indicator of MT's conviction that the share price does not reflect Cxr true fundemantels. That's a bullish sign from what I understand justifying my addition of more shares today and at every lower level from $33.

Right on target, prefered share is a very bullish sign. For those who are using the bankrupcy, that won't happend. Stop the fear... It's ridiculous.

Select: that's my fear, that there are skeletons. The longs, me included, kept hanging on to the result release in March only to watch the SP crash upon release. Frankly I'm not interested in waiting To mid May for Q1 results just to watch a repeat crash.

Select, may I suggest that you sell your shares and move on. You have been bashing the stock that you profess to own for quite a while now and having conversations with what I think are your alter egos. If you don't move on, then it is clear what you are... part of the organized drive to drive CXR lower.

And yes, of course, voting pref shares could definitely be issued for the purpose of acquiring or maintaining voting control of a company.
