cxr lost money last quarter. not many people realize that when the company and banks state "adjusted earnings". how much of their projected earnings for 2017, 2018, and on are "adjusted pie-in-the-sky earnings"?

working the other side now fbanker? With 29% of trade value short traded and an equal amount long traded for flipping, there is no shortage of penny flippers who profit (or lose) in either direction on the tails of the real managers - the market making algo guys.

Adjusted earnings have already been addressed in a previous post. CXR is NOT losing money, I suggest you figure out the difference between EPS and cash EPS. If you add back just the amortization of $75M, the company is cash flow positive. Stop making asinine statements as it shows your level of knowledge with regards to accounting.

perhaps i don't know all there is to know about accounting, but what i do know is this company is opportunistically choosing to report the most optimistic numbers. they also had how much in goodwill on their balance sheet? $800,000,000?! i don't care what financial black magic they're able to come up with to report adjusted profit. USE GAAP!
