Monday

Monday's announcement might give Cxr an advantage since only US is open where most of the short interest is at.  It might trade at higher than the announced priced due to a rush to cover.  Just a theory

What announced price? Roller, you being up at this time shows that you didn't sleep well. 1% chance of an announcement on Monday or Tuesday. This things happen when you least expect it. If it will happen, it will happen when you have 2,000 shares left. There is a BIG problem to consider here. I really didn't want to bring it up but I have to. They did cashflow of 92M for the Q1 which ...more

Tell me something. Considering CXR is diversified outside of the US, how will new US regulations affect cashflow so much that it will go from 92M to 50M? Please tell me what drugs and amounts will be affected.
Comment by fdfd12 on May 21, 2016 7:43am
40% US and I said, "gov'ts around the world and US". I am just considering the WORST CASE scenerio. Looking at the stock price, it is also being priced with this scenerio.
Comment by WillyWally on May 21, 2016 7:54am
I'm open to any scenario but what drug prices did they raise to inflate cashflow? There's enough random and false information on this forum, I hope you've got some specific information to back your claims up.

The Other Canadian Drug Company That Has Pushed Up Drug Prices Friday, May 20 - 8:40 AM Forbes - Nathan Vardi Concordia Healthcare has gone on a debt-fueled acquisition binge, including a deal for Donnatal, which has seen its price rise by 800% since 2010.

Fdfd12:  with every one sticking their nose in Cxr business how can they function in the open market.  They have to sell as this smear campaign is only going to get worst.   .

Yes it's exactly what I'm saying.  No one has the right dictate how Cxr prices their products.  All their products have equivalent drugs that do the same job, if you don't like the price then buy the alternative. The definition of Smart business is being able to sell an item at a higher price than your competition. This is not Walmart, it's a complex network of sales and ...more

Once again, I am a bull but a realistic bull. THERE WILL NOT BE a BUYOUT. That is my prediction. Reasoning (as I hae been saying since April 29): CXR is worth $80-$90US NOW!!! and no one will offer that price, especially witht the stock at $30US. They will offer MAX $45-$50 and MT will say NO. That is MY OPINION.
Comment by WillyWally on May 21, 2016 1:56pm
Ah, so we're back to this article! You realize that there's really no content in there, right? The most they increased is actually 100% for one drug in the US, and most drugs in England were increased 50%. That's really nothing that can explain a potential loss of 50M of revenue because a 100% increase is more than acceptable even in this environment.  Also, all of these ...more

nobody here would accept a 45 dollart offer anyhow,,,,so if thats the offer and MT allready knew it , why wouldnt he hve leaked a bo rumour last week and try to get the price up?\ look any offer might come in for us and we may not like what we see...but the fact is that 45$ would be a slap in thye face and if i were MT, i wouldnt even entertain  an offer like that
Comment by sunshine7 on May 21, 2016 3:17pm
Forget the talk about US$45. Everyone knows the true value is much higher including PE interests. They do not need to lowball to satisfy their needs. At US$65, they achieve 10% returnper annum if they do guidance and higher with growth. They can put back on market in 2-3 years for much higher than they paid. CXR is not a distressed company.

Druggy - u couldn't read a statement of changes in financial position if it was handed to u with a f@cking set of instructions. And BTW, pretty standard for growing companies to suck up working capital: though u would need to know what working capital is in a set of financials to even understand what I told u

Sorry Puma but I disagree. All you guys think is the +(positve of a stock. There are always 2 sides to consider. If the + are very strong and - are weak, then you hae a highflying stock. In CXR, Ithink it is obvious in the stock price that the - are to worry about just a little bit.

Stevie, I am not a bear. Nothing wrong with being a bull but a cautious one. As I have said, I have my biggest position in CXR at 18% knowing that there is a risk. I also know that the potential in this stock is like no other that I know. But, all you guys are is rah rah rah. You have to weigh the positives against the negatives. Roller:  I agree with your hyposthesis that the market is not rewarding CXR for it's model and in a perfect world this company would be better off run privately.  It totally makes sense.  However, there are many players here who do believe that in time the markets focus will ease and that the model will be very effective.  CXR is being painted with the VRX brush and thats ...more

My understanding about all this takeover chats is that MT is forced to consider going private.. This won't happen in any European country nor neither in Canada.. . It may take years to fix biotechnology healthcare sentiment. Gilead and few others are top ...more

curious, this and many other recent posts sums up my feelings exactly. CXR is very attractive to PE and is likely in the best interest of the company at this time. Any negotiations are very complex. Fair value IMO is US$65 based on CF and growth.
