How they control Cxr SP?  Wow. Never seizes to amaze me.  
Release any news they want, when they need to and trade on it.  It's a crime. Obviously not too many are selling here, so where is the volume coming from?  
I have to admit that I'm surprised that the real news is not out yet.  I guess it doesn't matter when if the agreed takeover price is set already.  Still though it's heart renching for a long like me with a major position to watch the unfolding of the propaganda.

I think its just logic at this point Roller, not manipulation. Blackstone was the big hope as they have the size and cash. As fdfd pointed out, its hard to imagine Apo being able to manage a buyout. They'd have to leverage to buy Cxr's leverage and pay a premium? A buyout doesn't make sense right now and the markets just reacting to it. Alot of people just bought in for the buyout and

My guesses have been off regarding the timing of the announcement. As to the reality of a deal, that is not a guess, like the report said yesterday, it's imminent.  So I don't care if Cxr is at 34 or 44 or 24, the end game which is near will take me to the sixties or seventies.

yes a deal, but with each day rolling by i am leaning more and more to seeing a deal being announced for just the Cinven block who i am sure will be able to accept an offer notwithstanding the response and advice from Greenhill to mgmt.

Guys, a deal is a lot like a murder investigation.  You know who you will arrest and charge but you won't do so until you cover all the angles and all the minor details that can derail it. At this point SP is an irrelevant matter to management which was made very clear yesterday by their muted and very vague response to the heaviest volume day ever with a swing of 20% plus in the SP
