UK petition

What happened. Never heard more from the crew (lattice, notwrong, select ). Did you hear about the discriminatory lawsuit against billy Kenber the writer of the times article.  Posting the Indian owners family picture with the rags to riches story based on so called ripping Nhs off.  In times where discrimination against Muslims and Indian descend immigrants is at its peak.  Really predatory and descriptive reporting antics. If you haven't heard you will very soon.  lol for an embarrassing retraction from the times.
Please don't tell me that the mayor of London is Indian.

This is a nasty reporting with colored people putting on the front page to create buzz, total discrimination. The billy boy should be put into jail.

Here is the source roller. https://petition.parliament.uk/help Not sure if the British system is like the american one where politicians are in corporate pockets. If it is hopefully Amco has some politicians paid off as it is unlikely any politician is going to stand against policy reform on this issue. If it isn't it will likely be politicians deciding what action to take and following ...more

The article said the price increases across 4 companies over the last 6.5 years amounted to 260M GBP.  That's 0.2% of the NHS budget. It's a drop in the bucket.  They will probably close the loophole though.

Yourmindz: the facts in the articles have no backing.  I'm not saying that they are incorrect but I will tell you that they are partial truths. I challange the times to reveal the documents showing exact figures stated in this article.  How did they get access to such NHS numbers? Who funded this investigative action? Why now when Cxr is in buyout talks two days after erroneous ...more

I meant to say the price increases were over a period of 6.5 years amounting to 260M a year. The problem is not paying junior doctors, it's finding and keeping them with that kind of pay. Might as well go train as a pipefitter, it's quicker and you'd make more.

It doesn't really matter whether they get 200,000 signatures or a million. The threshold to watch for was 100,000 for it to make it to british paliament and its well beyond that now. This all but guarantees more bad press to come which isn't exactly going to drive up the shareprice. If brexit was the variable on a deal getting done, this certainly adds a bigger variable into the mix. If ...more

Sorry youmindiz, it was right on the petition. Lol (135,185 of 200,000 signatures) seems like overkill i wish they'd just submit it and get it over with.
Comment by Pj1958 on Jun 12, 2016 1:04pm
100,000 is nothing.... They would need to see 1,000,000 signatures to take this petition seriously... Otherwise it will be business as usual . They know they need a lot more signatures , for the politicians to take this seriously.
Comment by curiousbuild on Jun 12, 2016 2:15pm
open a petition for animal rights and pet medicine pricing, you instantly get few million signatures.. just sayin.. CB
Comment by Craigbad on Jun 12, 2016 9:20pm
Not sure where your getting your info, but i provided a link to the government website where it clearly states the threshold is 100,000 signatures. Articles in the British press have already said Mp's, the health minister and Nhs all want action taken and want the Cma to investigate. The public petition all but garauntees this to make it to parliament and have the loophole closed. The ...more

Graigbad: amco UK business is only a part of Cxr. And only a small part of that amco business is under question.  Pipeline is fine and intact, Cxr needs to be smart I their pricing, that's all.  If there are any fines that will take years to materialize.  Look at the profile of drugs Cxr has. No one ever talks about the covis 1.2 billion aquasition of 14 drugs and the cash flow ...more
Comment by Craigbad on Jun 12, 2016 10:22pm
The problem is when the loophole closes, the game of "rebranding" is over which could kill the pipeline. When your only forecasting single digit growth, thats a big deal. Any downward revisions, delayed or nonexisting product lauches, missed guidance would kill the stockprice. You won't even be able to attract value investors to the stock given the huge debt if you take away the ...more
Comment by Roller007 on Jun 12, 2016 10:39pm
Again you are assuming the absolute worst.  Closing the loophole will take time and rebranding drugs  means that Cxr can charge more, loophole or not.  And who is to say that this loophole can be closed   Politicians and directors running NHS are fed like pigs by big pharma and my guess is that this issue will go away soon.  Just because a reporter with an agenda comes out ...more

Comment by terminator007 on Jun 12, 2016 11:09pm
These rhetorics will vanish in few months once the election is over
Comment by Roller007 on Jun 11, 2016 11:30pm
Wallop: sure they will close it and it will take years or the politicians will get fed and the loophole will stay and be forgotten about. Either way no legal action will ever materialize and if ,and that's a massive if, it does then cinven will hold most of the blame as they were in charge.  The only real issue for Cxr is that they can't charge rediculous prices for drug reformalation ...more

Sofulifsht:  then sell and go back to your job at the takeout window at McDonald's. If you, and obviously you don't, have nothing intelligent to add here then go to cohedes farm,I hear he is looking for chicken feeders.

Craigbad: This will not be surely going to debate in UK parliament, The petition needs to be posted under the uk government website, not some hokey third party site. https://petition.parliament.uk/help Nice try

It appears that our friend CRAIGBAD and his petition is on its last legs , and by reposting it and reaching far and wide for reasons to get it to the top of the BB isn't going to help.
