Yes public knowledge. When we have an MOC with a large buy or sell order, 75% of the time it goes in the right direction. Meaning if you have a stock to buy at 1,000,000 shares on MOC, then 75% of the time the stock will go up and 25% it will go down. No guarantee. Also, you really can't sell it on Nasdaq that easily since there is not much volume after hours on it. Once about 6 months ago, if ...more

You can only sell on Nasdaq if we have a BIG drop like we did that day. Otherwise, there is no volume. This type of drop happens maybe 1 time per year.

Very smart statement. If the number is big, you will get a move in that direction one second after it is announced. EX: a stock which is $30.00 and trades avg volume of 500,000 per day and announced that they will have a BUY of 300,000 shares. Then stock will go to $30.30 by the close then maybe jump to $30.60. Vice versa also. Rememeber, 25% of the time, it will sell those shares. Complete random ...more
