Shorts work in long's favour only if they are wrong and they get squeezed. In this case, the short thesis seems to be based on a bunch of inuendo, baseless claims, exaggerations of the truth, twisting of the truth, and simply piling onto an already beaten down sector. The Company has delivered on everything they said they will so far, so the shorts may very well work in our favour here in this ...more

Once I have concluded that a company's future is sound -- operationally --  and I have entered a long position, I usually welcome short attacks: (1) Weak shareholders are driven out, improving the likelihood that stock price will be comparatively stable in the far term when I might be looking to sell.
