fundtrader; The market cap number is meaningless.  Do not be fooled by that. A potential company to buy CXR could not care less about the share price or market cap.  They want to know only one number;  Enterprise value.  That number is comprised of debt mostly in the case of CXR and then you add the market cap minus cash on hand.  This would be the true takeover cost. I
