Comparing short positions CXR and CXRX

The short position on CXR is relatively low but doubled by mid  August

Short Positions for CXR
Symbol Report Date Volume Change Shares Issued % Float
T : CXR 2016-08-15 1,784,127 1,073,745 51,017,004 3.50
T : CXR 2016-07-31 710,382 -73,486 51,017,004 1.39
T : CXR 2016-07-15 783,868 428,490 51,017,004 1.54
T : CXR 2016-06-30 355,378 -395,617 51,017,004 0.70

Short position on CXRX is impressive!  12.5M shares. Keep watching he volumes on CXRX!
At 2M in volume, "just" 6 days to cover. but volume is dropping and if the shorties get too greedy at 30% of shares shorted...

If you own CXRX, put it up for sale with an ask price of $30.  It won't sell but will put pressures on the shorties, I can't see there being a lot of shares available to short on CXRX!

What I think is interesting is how little the short interest changed post Brexit. Since they had not anticipated it in advance when shorting, the only logical conclusion is that Brexit has in fact been a minor issue. It also seems reasonable to infer that the PE guys also wouldn't see Brexit as a deal breaker.

And she would know, she's part of it!  The short thesis is 100% on health M&A plays and price gouging.  One of the leaders of this US Hedge Fund attack is under SEC investigation. Unless Angie and chicken friends pull out more ammo, all I hear is clicking right now LOL  Or maybe I hear clucking?  LOL  ;-)

Oh come on Lettuce, u can read. I was drawing conclusions from a Post Brexit world. In my comment I sort of noted in rather plain English what u so quickly step up with in your " get paid by post".

Everyone thought the shorts were crazy to be shorting at the $30-35 level and people were talking about what great value it was. Here we are in the $11s and the shorts are planning on riding it to $0. The well respected ceo of Knight Therapeudics expected there was going to be some fire sale assets to buy cheaply early next year as conveyed on a recent conference call. Well, this stock is holding good. Shorts must be in Holiday because q3 results will be stellar. I like the fact that the co splitted the stock in three because the stock is more liquid. Now I gotta go because there is some liquid waiting for me.
