craigbad, you really think shorting at lows is smart?

Did you just short this because you lost on your long position or do you really think this is *the* best short on the markets?  LOL   You fell "out of love" with CXR didn't you?

I short but man, being short here is like being long, buying at the highs and ignoring the overbought conditions and trying to make it up with posting stuff already built into the price.

We get it, you think fund managers who haven't already bailed will bail.  They're already gone!  The others are looking at the value of CXR today at the current price where newbies/non-pros are looking at their book values and crying wondering whether to all all you shorties seriously or not.

Imagine if this is a take over dance....

Week after week new Friday lows.  Such pain of being a Concordia shareholder Even tho the stock is down 80%, It can still go down another 100% No buyout, CEO is going bankrupt on Cahodes website !!  Can't wait !!!! And the CEO thought his stock wasn't even worth $13 to cover his margin so it wouldn't be sold.

I was always an objective long and was willing to point out flaws if you remember and have said many times i was in for a buyout. Once it was clear it was going to break $25 i bailed and went short. I get your looking for a little pop to dump your shares but the chart doesn't indicate that will happen. Many people bought at $16ish for a deadcat bounce that never happened, it declined another ...more

One more thing. Go back and read the update on Brexit and Update on Business press releases from just before financials and then read what actually transpired in the financials. If after doing so, you can honestly say you trust management further than you could throw them, by all means hold your shares and buy more.

I still remember on the concall, I remember hearing the person say, " with the new partnership in a couple of weeks" then he switched his conversation, there were 3 of us that heard that, and based on other info, I still believe a deal is done,,,perhaps a complete takeover deal at a lessor price,,,but a deal,,,this will be week # 3 starting this Monday, so keeping my fingers crossed, and ...more

I heard it as well, but not sure it will a take-over. I'd rather see some leverage reduction transaction with little dilution or with some dilution should the share price increase.  If not a capital transaction, a revenue enhancing commercial partnership would do me just fine.  quote=fillipinophil]I still remember on the concall, I remember hearing the person say, " with the ...more

$US 100 million partnership deal for 50% of Photofrin and taking over all R&D which saves another $US 10 million plus of R&D. ....... this covers 60% of Cinven and leaves good cash pool to make more deals of small drug buys to leverage the AMCo platform. [/quote]
