Agreed. I think they are also trying to see if they can Shake some more of MT's shares on a margin call. The thing is they don't know if any of his other shares are margined. That is why they keep on clamouring for more details about MT's shareholdings. This is end of days for games. Full reversal just around the corner.  quote=88guy88]just some shorts having some fun scaring ...more

Lattice, you and your gang of manipulators will say anything to instill fear, uncertainty and doubt. Statements of risk relate to risks associated with the company.  A CEO purchasing shares by getting a loan poses no risk to the company's prospects.  It is this unreleantless short attack that has caused tremendous harm to all security holders who are not holding a short position ...more

Below is the full quote of MT's forced sale of shares.  No where does the press rlease mention that the shares were pledged to secure existing debt. He got a loan, purchased shares and pledged those shares as security. That is what I read from the press release. I don't dispute that some companies prohibit insiders from purchasing margined shares, but please post Concordia's anti ...more

The last sentence in the passage of the circular you referenced stated that the company did not have any hedging policy at the date of the circular.  The April 19th press release announcing the hedging policy talks about purchasing financial instruments that are DESIGNED to offset a decrease in market value of securites.  The company policy does not prohibit purachsing shares on margin.  ...more

Lattice, I grant you the win on there being a policy against hedging shares of the company. I do not grant you an overall win since the policy does not prohibit buying shares on margin. I honestly believe MT never thought he would see the day that the shares would fall as much as they have. Unlike you and your other paid badger friends, I don't have the time to go through every document posted ...more

Lumber, I'm sorry but you lost here.  Please do like Lattice and respawn with a different alias just like she does. ;-)   Please hold your side of the bargain. ;-) And really, the Cayman Island thing to hide from the taxman but not the SEC & regulators???  He did it to "hide" and when you hide, you try to hide. Let's say you're a kid playing hide a seek ...more

You have a wee leetle problem understanding Lady Justice, aka Latice.  MT did not buy shares on margin.  HE used 10% LTV and borrowed against his shares.  Same as placing a put using debt instruments and Lettuce is absolutely right on this one.   [/quote]

CXR BULL, THE POINT IS HE COULD NOT COVER HIS DEBT AND AVOIDED THE MARGIN CALL BECUASE HE WAS IN A BLACK-OUT PERIOD.  HAD HE, HE WOULD HAVE BEEN EXPOSED TO INSIDER TRADING PROSECUTION!!!  SEE ATTACHED ARTILE DISCUSSING THE EXACT DILEMMA HE WAS IN.  https://www.thesecuritiesedge.com/2012/07/margin-calls-the-insider-trading-trap/.  The last paragraph is exactly on point. It's not shorts selling this alone. It's longs too. I emphatize with your situation and certainly don't want anyone to lose money, but the only reason stock is down is CXR Management. They don't seem to care. No strategic plan, no media announcements, nothing. They just sit and watch the ship sink. They should all get fired. Concordia Healthcare deserves better leadership.

I agree with you 100%. There is no transparency with this management and after listening to the Q2 call I was extremely disappointed. When your stock is down 20% before the market opens due to your poor results... as the CEO MT should have spoke up and addressed the situation at the start of the call. But not MT instead he keeps quiet and comes on the last 5 minutes of the call and acted like all ...more
