If you do a little research, you'll find that Valeant passed on the assets that Concordia bought. They didn't pass Valeants smell test, as low as that bar is. Thankfully, Concordia was there so private equity had somewhere to dump them.

Personally I would prefer a merger with growing biotechnology, like BLUE, etc It will create a synergy, continuous cashflow (from legacy and some new - Concordia) + top research (biotechnology firm) It will remove from short attacks, because any approval by FDA (from bio side) can propel stocks high. In the same time will provide growth perspective, which is not big from Concordia.

Current pricing of this stock has little to do with potential revenues or future news. It is solely manipulated and the floor is approaching fast.  It is currently reading in bankruptcy levels imho and people are being scared away because of the decline SP. The board is full of shorts shims.  It looks like shorty is getting personal here, as there is a disconnect between stock price and ...more
