If it gaps up.. go long and buy boat loads

10 million shorts or 30% float needs to cover..i am sure they are scared of a news release on strategic review. Generally pharma stocks tend to do well this quarter and after the beat down this summer. Huge recovery on its way.

I would agree with this strategy and wait to see if there is any gaps up on high volume. Normally that would be my time to jump on but I'm really concerned it could be a fake.  A "bull trap".  The shorts just use it to short from above $10 creating more bagholders.  When a stock is this compromised and the company is so weak.  It's like having wolf packs ...more

Heavy volume:  I agree that bull trap is very plausible, and also like to add that as long as the volume on the American side is 40-50% more than tsx this is a no buy.  It's the biggest sign of heavy manipulation in either direction.  Once the tsx volume goes north of its American counterpart then that is your clue that funds and institutions are accumulating based on unreleased ...more

Excellent point, you can wait for it to crash or conversely ensure that it's not a classic bull trap and wait for $10 USD ($13 CDN) to see if there is anything warranted to reverse it from a confirmed decline trend. Interesting to watch.  Seems all eyes are on the CEO?  You wonder what type of travel would be more important than talking to nervous investors waiting and anxious ...more

Heavy volume:  I have my doubts that MT is acting on his own, i believe he is doing what he is told to do by the "future saviours" of this pathetic excuse of a company.   These boys are a very smart bunch with deep pockets.  They also have something really incriminating on him or the company making their orders non negotiable.   - lie about the health of your earnings ...more

I have no proof.  But I should imagine Cinven is sharpening their carving knife getting ready to take their pound of flesh and increase their ownership stake near this price point.

That's pure speculation here Rad10, what I've like to see is the details of the Cinven-AMCo deal in terms of the "conditions of sale".  They say the sale was completed last fall, I don't think it was. It's possible Cinven can just wait till Feb 2017 to pick up what's left.  By that time, the SP could be pennies!

Has anyone here done that and posted a summary? If so, where would I find it?
Comment by PROtrading on Sep 15, 2016 9:51am
NO!  All the bulls and long position players or investors here are either too lazy or stupid. Shorters are the ones that read up and are sitting on a ton of info.  That stuff will make its way to the press and BOOM!  Down 50% in no time. All the bagholders here haven't read the details which are in the regulatory filings at sedar.com and edgar.com. I have an excuse, I'm a ...more

There were several red flags pro -  I just didn't pick up on them until after the fact.  Cinven does not list Concordia as one of its holdings.  Amco is still listed etc etc etc. This is not a play for amateurs - I have lost too much already so just "bagholding" and waiting to see how it pans out.  I have the bulk of my portfolio in quality pharma ...more
