How on bnn  in late April Andrew announced his knowledge that the strategic review commenced prior to April 21 /2016 and the point at which Thompson hedged his shares.  I know for a fact that the buyout talks started in January this year, so my sense is that the shorts have this incriminating evidence on Thompson and the board and are using it to control their actions.  Remember that the directors ere not allowed to place any hedges on their positions during this review.   This is one hell of a mess.  He has to be one of the dumbest CEOs evident by how he was and still being played/ controlled by the very people destroying his company.  No way in hell Concordia sees the next earnings report.

Agree that the board and Thompson knew where the SP headed because they were getting offers prior to April 21.  Yes they had offers in February and March that reflected the real strength of their business and was obviously lower than where Concordia was trading at that time.  That's when in my opinion they started to plan their exit and the fake BO talks and immenant takeout bull ...more

Good points. This apperas to be a real trainwreck......If this company gets reduced to dust, Mark Thompson's name will be mud in the investment community (it probably already is).....If this ends badly, I doubt he'll be able to run a publically-traded company (or perhaps even a private firm) for a long time, if ever - I mean, who in their right mind would invest money in a company this ...more
