Where is the information on this?  One way or the other?   Because right now, the cards indicates that special additional payment might have been met in June. Could be a card they kept close to their chest which is not how publicly run companies should run....

I 2nd that Rad. Checked with a few PMs and they confirmed. The 72M deal was not done and not related to the 4 drugs acquired this summer.

Sorry to be a skeptic here but unless you guys can post some real fact, this is pure fluff!  Which "PMs"? We have an official $72M to unspecified "specified UK third party" on the November t0th 2015 filings, followed by a June 1st 2016 confirmation that 4 UK drugs were acquired. If this company and CEO were "clean" you'd have to give the benefit of the ...more

Pro - it is direct from IR. I know we are on different sides of this trade but think about it - a 72 million finders fee for a 21 million dollar deal. It was a different UK based company that was targetted at the time and it didnt pan out The Cinven additional payment of 72 million as a finders fee has NOT been triggered.

Sorry to interupt but thaaaaaaat's GOOD NEWS dum-dums!  What a SURRRRPRISE! And you wouldn't happen to have a copy of that email to post would you?  Just change the To: emaill address to fool@dumduminvestor.com so you can hide your real identity. I cant post private emails on this board.  Just check my history - I value my integrity.  Mr Peeler in IR does respond to emails.

Rad10, ignore the nonsense from Bazoo there, why can't you post the email with your address and time removed? And, weren't you shorting the short and hedging it long on the bonds?  That's changed? To me, when it quacks like a duck, walks like a duck, it's duck.  If there $72M wasn't "triggered", it simple means the company is feeling the heat of non ...more

Guys, rad10's story doesn't add up.  Didn't he mention he was shorting the stock and going long on the bonds to get the 17% or so interest (while the music lasts)? Yet, he also said he and I were on the "opposite side of the trade"? I don't think he received anything because he can't post the body of the message.  I'd like to see the wording.  I ...more

Pro - I am long Concordia, my worst investment since armtec debentures.  I left a long position on the table when I covered my short position in Valeant.  It was stupid but I believed the firing on all cylinders speech.   I have pulled off a couple of convertible hedges but unfortunately concordia was not one of them.  Like many others I was blindsided by Brexit vote and more ...more

Rad...Yessss Go visit Peeler and Thompson...Tell them to become more transparent and honest about the company and the chances of recovery....I'm a retiree and I'm down 40% on my investment..It hurts, really does....GL

Marky, have you considered going short if the news gets worst?  You can easily double your money from here on a short or lose all you money staying on the wrong side of the trade? This $72M surprise and questions has not made the press yet.... This stock and company is 100% untrustable in my view but that's a fairly recent view with just enough depth to see red flags one after another.

Hey Marky1 - I know you asked Rad but just wanted to jump in here. I have spoken to Adam Peeler as well as received an email from him a while back. He won't return you call unless you say you are flying out to Oakville to meet him in person or you sound really desperate. Regarding an email reply, I got a "understand your frustration" one liner along with a link to a press release ...more

Hi Marky - I was thinking that an announcement was coming due to how they were handling investors (such as a takeover), but instead, each time more bad news is released. Sorry to hear about your losses and it certainly could be a lot worst than 40% down but that is still a big loss. The last (and only) email I received from Adam Peeler [adam.peeler@concordiarx.com] was on September 16th (the day ...more
