Bonds Up

A poster gave a tip awhile back that its a good idea to watch the bonds. I checked the CXRCN 9.5 10/21/22 today and its 68.75 - yld 18.228 and when someone posted the same bond quote for Sept 16th it was 67.5 - yld 18.644. I expected it to be down further with all this Cinven earnout uncertainty coming to a head. But its actually up..

Someone pointed out that the 7%  04/15/23 bond was up too. Still ugly $63.75 - 16.192% but opposite to the share price today. its just one data point but I think whoever mentioned that its a good idea to watch the bonds, is giving good advice to anyone thinking of going long or short.

Absolutely have to watch the bonds.  They are as ugly as before and well ahead of the shares from a safety perspective. But with the debt in Canada and the assets in Barbadoes.  That's changes all. I would bet that few bondholders know this?  Most were probably just recommended by analyst to buy when they bought because of its previous safety and returns.  The whole has ...more
