For the record. For those who don't know this contrarian trader, this sheep with boots and hat is actually quite good.  Went long last week but he doesn't do any fundamentals it seems.  He is purely a contrarian TA player. Same category of trader as our craigbbad here but different styles.

10 shares...? what does "hold 10/15 inventory allocation" mean?

Poor Contra_Man, trying to be a contrarian on a flaming dumpster?  Are you looking at the fundamentals or what??? CM!  Both CXRX and CXR are below average volume! I know CM isn't a pump and dumper since he plays the indexes.  CM talk to us, I don't want you to get fleeced!  ;-)      I hate to nice good sheeps getting fleeced! here is

Excellent question Highlandmist. Positions are logarithmic trading units we use to pattern either a SELL or BUY of falling knifes typically. Each unit is defined as a exactly one board lot or 100 shares. Small investors could use 1/10th positions and large institutions x00's or x000's if the float allows. Each additional SELL or BUY is then simply one additional board lot, or 100 shares ...more

I LOVE this guy!  It does explain why you blindly took a position on this      flaming dumpster!       Contra_man, thanks for the detailed explanation here.  Most people won't understand a word of this and will get lost after the first two paragraphs but let me just say, you have a bunch of contrarian fans!

ARRRHHHHHHHHH You are killing me man!    There's only a few traders I take seriously here and you're one of them on the TA Contrarian side. I need to exit my short with peanuts!  I'll go over to my other bullboards to feed the monkeys now.... Back on the sidelines, short term charts look too positive and when Stockhouse's King Contrarian buys, I get worried ...more
